The school put out the flags on Monday 29th January 2007, the official 100th birthday and we celebrated with a very special assembly. Current pupils wrote poems to mark the occasion and past pupils from all decades enlightened us with their school memories. Mr Mead wrote a special centenary song and after many weeks of practice, the whole school joined him in singing along! Mrs Norwell shared with everyone the letter from Buckingham Palace congratulating us on 100 years. No birthday is complete without a cake and this was no exception. Three wonderful cakes were baked by Mrs Roberts and enjoyed by everyone.
