English

Each week, use the link above to access BBC Bitesize Daily Lessons.  Follow each English lesson, recording all the necessary information in your home learning book.  Some activities ask you to print out an activity sheet.  THIS IS NOT NECESSARY. If you do not have a printer, either replicate the sheet in your home learning book or copy a specified text as handwriting practice before completing the activity.  Please aim to spend no more than one hour on English per day.

Great Expectations

Before we broke up for Easter we were reading the graphic novel 'Great Expectations' by Charles Dickens.  Many of you were eager to find out what happened to Pip, Estella and Miss Havisham so I have downloaded the remaining chapters of the book for you to read.  We left the story just as Pip set off for London to become a gentleman.  Let me know what you think of the story and if your predictions that you made many weeks ago were true by sending me a message via the class email.
