RECORD ALL WORKING OUT IN YOUR HOME LEARNING BOOK NEATLY - IF YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED THE ACTIVITY, WORK ON THE ALTERNATIVE TASKS FOR THAT WEEK.
Parents: I have uploaded the answer sheets, together with some guidance and key questions for each objective (these are sometimes referred to as small steps). If you require activities from previous weeks that have been removed, please either send me an email with the information required or access them direct on the White Rose website.
You do not have to print out each sheet. Please record each answer in your home learning book, remembering to write and underline the date and learning objective (LO) at the top of each activity, just as we would do in class.
White Rose Maths set a series of problem solving activities each Friday. Do as many as you can independently. Some are really tricky and you will probably need some adult support. Tip: setting out the problem in your books using a bar model is really helpful when breaking down a problem. Find the clues in the question and put this information into your bar model.
As it now looks likely that children will not be in school until September at the earliest, I have provided you with some additional maths activity sheets. These can be completed in addition to the White Rose Maths tasks, only if time permits. I am aware that some children are starting to speed through the daily tasks and these Maths Mats will provide an opportunity to revisit previously learned objectives. They also provide the children with some mental tasks. As with all of the work, it is not necessary to print out the sheets. Just record the season and mat number in your maths book together with all of your working out. For example: Spring 1, Activity Mat 1.
