Congratulations to all seven classes who have worked tirelessly to put together an amazing set of Christmas performances over the last two weeks.
Classes Monet, Kandinsky and Matisse set us off with a version of the traditional nativity entitled Bethlehem's Buzzin'. Not only were we entertained and reminded of the Christmas story, we learned about three dishonest Bethlehem street traders that changed their ways following the birth of baby Jesus.
Classes Seurat and Klee treated their families to a traditional carol concert at the Baptist Church before Classes Turner and van Gogh completed the season with two services in All Soul's Church this week. The children all sang a range of traditional and contemporary carols, accompanied by instrumentalists on flute, clarinet and piano whilst Class Van Gogh retold the Christmas story in their own moving words.
A special thank you to both churches for hosting these memorable services and especially to Mrs Everest, Mrs Hudson and Mr Glavin for their musical accompaniment and support.
