Pupil Premium Information
The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. This funding is allocated to children who:
The percentage of pupils in the school who are receiving free school meals, have received free school meals in one or more of the previous 6 years (Ever 6), are a ‘child in care’, or a child of service personnel is 13%.
Crockenhill Primary currently has 16% of children on role, registered for Pupil Premium.
How do I apply for Pupil Premium Funding for my child?
Since September 2014, all children in Key Stage 1 (Reception, Year 1 & Year 2) have been eligible for Free School Meals. However, the parents of children in any class who wish to apply for Pupil Premium Funding must still go through the Free School Meals form process. Please use these forms / the web link to make your Pupil Premium Funding applications until rebranded ones are made available. For children in Key Stage 2 (Years 3,4,5,6) your child will then also be eligible for Free School Meals.
If you have any questions about Pupil Premium Funding or Free School Meals, please contact Mrs Bickel, Mrs Sharp or Mrs Carter, through the School Office.
